Truth
God is the Absolute Standard for
Truth. The Bible reveals who God is and how we are to live to His
standard. We value the teaching of the Word, coupled with
obedience to the Word.
Relationships
First, and foremost,
Christianity is about relationships. We value the building of
relationships--With Christ, fellow-believers and un-believers.
Prayer
Communion/Communication with God
is the foundational aspect of being a Christian. Prayer is our
first work in all decision making processes.
Authentic Worship
God is seeking those who will
worship Him in spirit and in truth. We value worship that is
pleasing to God, engaging the whole spirit, soul & body of
the worshipers. We value worship styles that appeal to the
younger generations, for they are the future of the Church.
Relevancy
Representing all aspects of
being in Christ in a relevant manner. We value presenting the
claims of Christ in a relevant way.
Reaching the Unchurched
We value reaching those who do
not have a meaningful Church experience.
Family
The family is the primary
structure created by God to promote wholeness and well-being.
Unhealthy families make unhealthy communities, cities, and
states. We value ministries that strengthen families, and
thereby, strengthen our community.
Creativity/Innovation
We will be a permission giving
group of people. We value the art of finding new ways of doing
things, to better our effectiveness.
Spiritual Gifts
Every believer has been given a gift by God to be used to serve others. These gifts should be cultivated by believers. We value the contributions of the whole Body of Christ to our Fellowship.
